BONUS: Classic Sweet and Smokey BBQ Sauce

• 1 ¼ C – Ketchup
• 3 TBS – Apple Cider Vinegar
• 2 TBS – Worcestershire Sauce
• 1/3 C – Dark Brown Sugar (If using Honey to infuse, replace 1:1 amount)
• 1 tsp- Salt
• 1 tsp – Garlic Powder
• 1 heaping tsp – Onion Powder
• ½ tsp – Smoked Paprika
• ¼ tsp – Mustard Powder
• ¼ tsp – Chili Powder
• ¼ tsp – Red Chili Flakes (Optional)
• Pinch of Black Pepper (to taste)
• 3 TBS – Butter (if using Butter to infuse, replace 1:1)
• 3 TBS – Molasses
• Water to thin as needed.

Stovetop Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a sauce pot and whisk to combine. Bring to a light simmer and reduce heat to low, simmering for 10-15 minutes. Whisk every 5 minutes.

Grill, Smoker Instructions:

Smoker: Place all ingredients in a sauce pot and whisk to combine. Set pot on grill grate until slightly reduced. (dependent on setting of smoker/grill), You want the sauce to simmer for at least 10-15 minutes. Whisk regularly to avoid burning.

Use warm sauce immediately or remove from heat and let rest until room temperature. Place in your favorite airtight container / jar, and use/store in fridge for up to 7 days.
