Summer Recipe: Classic Sweet and Smokey BBQ Sauce

Stovetop Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a sauce pot and whisk to combine. Bring to a light simmer and reduce heat to low, simmering for 10-15 minutes. Whisk every 5 minutes.
Grill, Smoker Instructions:
Smoker: Place all ingredients in a sauce pot and whisk to combine. Set the pot on grill grate until slightly reduced. (dependent on the setting of your smoker/grill), You want the sauce to simmer for at least 10-15 minutes. Whisk regularly to avoid burning.
Use warm sauce immediately or remove it from heat and let it rest until room temperature. Place in your favorite airtight container/jar, and use/store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
Tip: To calculate dosage, divide your BBQ sauce into six portions. Find out how many milligrams of THC were in your canna-butter. Divide by six to obtain the dosage per portion. Remember always start low and go slow! Edibles can take hours to kick in, so you should wait at least two hours before increasing the dosage.
