Let's dive into the art of making pot brownies that are a cut above the rest!
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup of all-purpose flour
- ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- ½ cup cannabutter
- 1 cup of white granulated sugar
- ½ cup of brown sugar: or 1½ cups of white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Toppings: incredibles Mile High Mint
What you need:
- Mixing Bowl
- Stand or hand mixer
- 8” x 8” pan
- Spoon
- For fun, we recommend Brownie Scout Cannabis Flower for the cannabutter
Method:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8″x8″ glass or metal baking pan or square cake pan and set it aside.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Sift the flour and cocoa powder to remove any lumps. Add the salt, followed by the baking powder, and mix. Set aside.
Cream the cannabutter and sugar in a large bowl with a hand mixer or the bowl of an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla to the creamed sugar mixture.
Beat on medium speed for one minute. The mixture’s color should lighten a bit.
Add the dry mix ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Beat on low speed until everything is well incorporated.
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
Place the desired amount of incredibles Mile High Mint between two pieces of wax paper. Using a roller, or your hand, crush the chocolate into small chips. Sprinkle chips on top of brownie batter
Place the pan on a center rack in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The bake time will depend on your oven and your brownie consistency preferences. Test the finished brownies with a toothpick
Allow brownies to cool for 30 minutes on a wire rack before cutting them into squares.
Enjoy!
